A a rural restaurant entrenched in PEC foodways, the menu is seasonal, farm-fresh and designed for sharing.

Stella Pamajewon Marshall was Chef Leah Marshall Hannon’s great grandmother. She raised her family on the shores of Pickerel River with only a small isolated general store for supplies. Her community foraged, hunted and depended on the seasons, traditional cooking techniques, and what nature offered them. Stella honed the wisdom passed down to her from her ancestors and created comfort in the form of food. Comfort food changes with the seasons, with what is growing and abundant.

Stella’s Eatery is the legacy of grandmothers, and mothers. Chef Leah creates menus inspired by gathering for meals, and sharing stories. Simple, comfortable, rooted in the seasons, and dedicated to sustainability, the menu changes constantly and is designed for family-style dining. Each dish is a celebration of local, foraged, and seasonal ingredients.

We offer a selection of delicious local and international wines, and a selection of local beers, ciders and non-alcoholic beverages.

We appreciate our community of farmers, creators, growers, and our lucky to call many of them friend. Stella’s Eatery is a celebration intentional land stewardship and farming practices, a devotion to the fantastic flavours of Prince Edward County.
